Haven’t posted anything in a while but I thought I would today. Played the Limited Edition scratch off. It is a $10 ticket. Won $30.

Scratch Off Lottery Tickets

In this blog, I will talk about scratch off tickets. Again, as I stated before in the previous blogs, it is pure luck. What I will discuss is some strategies you can use to improve your odds of winning. I generally play the $2, $3 and $5 tickets. Every once in a while I play the $7 tickets and very rarely the $10 tickets. I have won my fair share of money in scratch off tickets. I have won $200 twice in Break the Bank. I win alot of $2.00, $3.00, $5.00 $10.00 winnings. Occasionally I win $20.00 and $50.00 and sometimes $100.00. My strategy: Each scratch off ticket has the odds posted on the back of the ticket. Mid June update

 I recently posted about how the Texas Lottery had a digital coupon for the Cash Five game. The coupon was for buy five Cash Five tickets and get one free. The way you would redeem this coupon was by the Texas Lottery app. The app had an update and when this happened, the app did not work. I tried to reload it and still did not work. I noticed a news report the other day that stated that the app was down and that the Texas Lottery Commission was working on a fix. During this time, I was unable to use the coupon. So for about one week I lost the opportunity to use that coupon. I don' know if it will be extended since the app was down. As of June 15, 2023, the app is up and running. I did have to do an update to the app. I was able to use the coupon today and got six tickets for the price of five. I generally have a set of numbers that and I use as well as some quick picks. Update 2/1/2014

Here is my latest post on how to win money on the lottery.  I hope the previous posts have helped you make some money. My post refers to tickets played in Texas - scratch offs. Mega Millsions and Powerball are played throughout other states so my techniques would apply to those too. Recently, I have noticed some things in the scratch off games. There have been times when a scratch off ticket launches and right away, people start winning - the top prizes. When I go online to check how many winners are left and the top prizes are mostly gone. That tells me that the lottery commission has posted a lot of winning tickets out there and that is a good time to buy them, especially if they are new games. There are other times when I see games that have been out awhile and the top prizes are still available. That tells me that there aren't very many winners out there. Case in point.
