Update 6/27/15

Played Mega Million lottery. Hit the bonus plus one number for winnings of $10. Megaplied number was 5. Plaing Powerball. I use set of powerball bonus numbers with quick picks for the rest. Hoping my number 3 comes out again.

Scratch Off Lottery Tickets

In this blog, I will talk about scratch off tickets. Again, as I stated before in the previous blogs, it is pure luck. What I will discuss is some strategies you can use to improve your odds of winning. I generally play the $2, $3 and $5 tickets. Texas Two-Step and Cash Five

This is my 2nd blog on the lottery. In my first blog I wrote about the Powerball and Mega Millions lottery. In this blog I will write about the Texas Two-Step and Cash Five. Again, as stated in the first blog, winning the lottery is pure luck. There is no set way to win. What I am discussing in these blogs is how you can increase your chances of winning something (may not be the big one) but at least get something back. The Texas Two-Step consists of 4 numbers plus a bonus ball. Unlike the Powerball and Mega Millions, the Texas Two-Step does not have a multiplier, i.e., a powerplay or mega ball option for a $1.00 more. In the Texas Two-Step you choose a bonus number from 1-35 and four other numbers from 1-35. Mid June update

 I recently posted about how the Texas Lottery had a digital coupon for the Cash Five game. The coupon was for buy five Cash Five tickets and get one free. The way you would redeem this coupon was by the Texas Lottery app. The app had an update and when this happened, the app did not work. I tried to reload it and still did not work. I noticed a news report the other day that stated that the app was down and that the Texas Lottery Commission was working on a fix. During this time, I was unable to use the coupon. So for about one week I lost the opportunity to use that coupon. I don' know if it will be extended since the app was down. As of June 15, 2023, the app is up and running. I did have to do an update to the app. I was able to use the coupon today and got six tickets for the price of five. I generally have a set of numbers that and I use as well as some quick picks.
